Getting Started

Open MookRun in a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge), allow camera and microphone access when prompted, then tap Start Video Chat to be matched with a stranger in seconds. No sign-up is required for basic use.

Camera or Microphone Not Working?

  • Check that your browser has permission to use the camera and mic (browser settings → Site permissions)
  • Close other apps that may be using your camera (Zoom, FaceTime, etc.)
  • Try refreshing the page or switching to a different browser
  • On mobile, ensure MookRun is opened in the browser, not an in-app webview that blocks media

Matching Takes Too Long

Peak hours may have higher demand. Try again in a few seconds, check your internet connection, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache and reload.

How to Skip or End a Chat

Tap the Next or skip button during any session to instantly match with someone new. You can also close the tab at any time — your session ends immediately.

Reporting & Safety

If someone behaves inappropriately, use the in-app Report button during or after a session. Our moderation team reviews reports and may ban repeat offenders. Never share personal information, passwords, or payment details with strangers.

Is MookRun Free?

Yes — random video chat on MookRun is free. Optional premium features, if available, will always be clearly labeled before any purchase.
